FareHarbor vs Rezdy: Distribution, Fees and Support

Rezdy’s published plans and channel manager vs FareHarbor’s distribution network and support, from each company’s own pages.

Somebody at the marina swears by one platform. Somebody at the fuel dock swears by the other. Neither of them runs your boat. So let’s skip the dock talk and look at what each company says in its own words.

This FareHarbor vs Rezdy guide sticks to what we found on each company’s website in September 2026. We cover three things boat operators ask about most: distribution, fees and support. For more side-by-side looks, visit our booking software comparisons page.

Rezdy: plans, fees and the channel manager

According to Rezdy’s pricing page (as shown to US visitors, September 2026), Rezdy offers three plans:

  • Foundation: $49 a month, 3%* per online booking, $1 per offline or agent booking.
  • Accelerate: $99 a month, 3%* per online booking, $0.85 per offline or agent booking.
  • Expansion: $249 a month, 3%* per online booking, $0.70 per offline or agent booking.

The page lists a 21-day free trial. Features it lists include waitlists, a guest manifest, automated customer notifications, the Rezdy Channel Manager and “Marketplace access to >12,000 agents.”

Here’s the thing: Rezdy puts distribution front and center on its pricing page. If selling through agents is a big part of your plan, that marketplace is the part to dig into. Ask what agents charge and how that works alongside Rezdy’s own per-booking fee.

FareHarbor: distribution and support

According to FareHarbor’s Distribution Network page for operators (as of September 2026), operators pay “20% commission on all bookings generated” through FHDN referral links and “25% commission” on bookings through the FHDN API. The page says: “The commission rates are non-negotiable.”

Important: those rates apply only to FHDN distribution bookings. They are not FareHarbor’s regular booking fee. FareHarbor does not publish its booking fee percentage on the pages we checked, so ask for the exact fee in writing. Our FareHarbor alternative page has more.

On support, according to FareHarbor’s support page (as of September 2026), it offers “Phone or email support available around the clock.”

A 20% commission on a referral booking and a booking fee on your own website are two very different numbers. Don’t mix them up.

Rezdy vs FareHarbor for tour operator booking management: which offers better distribution network, features, and pricing?

It depends on how you sell. If agents and resellers bring a lot of your guests, compare Rezdy’s Channel Manager and agent marketplace with FareHarbor’s FHDN, and get every commission in writing. If most guests book on your own website, the regular booking fee matters more than distribution. On features, Rezdy’s pricing page lists waitlists, a guest manifest and automated notifications. For FareHarbor, ask for its feature list, then run a live demo of your busiest day with both. On pricing, Rezdy publishes its plans and rates, while FareHarbor’s regular fee needs a written quote.

Example math: Rezdy’s plans on a busy month

Say 200 guests book online in a month at $100 each, and you absorb the fee. That is $20,000. This uses Rezdy’s listed rates and leaves out card processing.

Example math only, from Rezdy’s listed US prices as of September 2026. Offline or agent bookings are priced per booking instead.

We did not chart FareHarbor, because it does not publish the fee (and we are not in the guessing business). Ask FareHarbor for its number and add your own bar. See our Rezdy alternative page for more.

Questions to ask both vendors

Before you sign with anyone, send the same list to each company and ask for written answers. It keeps the comparison fair (and it saves you from a second round of sales calls).

  • What is my total fee on a $100 online booking? Include software, booking and card processing.
  • What do I pay when weather cancels a trip and I refund every guest?
  • What does each sales channel cost? Your website, agents, resellers and walk-ups.
  • When does the money reach my bank?
  • Who picks up the phone on a Saturday morning, and how fast?

Bottom line

Rezdy gives you published plans, a channel manager and an agent marketplace. FareHarbor’s support page says phone or email support is available around the clock, and its FHDN page lists distribution commissions it calls non-negotiable.
